As a Louisiana youth ranch, Crossroads Youth Ranch is a non-profit ministry for teenagers (youth) ages 13-18 (junior high/high school). Our Louisiana youth ranch provides service to those who have developed social and family problems due to wrong choices, peer pressure, academic failure, addictive behavior, low self-esteem, recovery from abuse and emotional trauma, and family dysfunction.
Our Louisiana youth ranch is a 12 to 18 month residential addictive-compulsive-oppositional-defiant- treatment program for adjudicated youth. At our Louisiana youth ranch, building on our Adventure Based Counseling methodologies, programming at our Louisiana youth ranch focuses on addressing the specific needs of youth with problems. Louisiana youth ranch participants develop pro-social behaviors, enhanced self-esteem and sustainable, substance free lifestyles. Over a four year period, 83.9% of our Louisiana youth ranch graduates had no further involvement with the criminal justice system and a four year look at relapse found that 89.7% of our Louisiana youth ranch graduates reported NO relapse and 10.2% reported some relapse, but no active use.
