Alternative school information as well as alternative school services are available here for your review. As a alternative school, Crossroads Youth Ranch is a non-profit ministry for teenagers (youth) ages 13-18 (junior high/high school). Our alternative school provides service to those who have developed social and family problems due to wrong choices, peer pressure, academic failure, addictive behavior, low self-esteem, recovery from abuse and emotional trauma, and family dysfunction.
Our alternative school is a 12 to 18 month residential addictive-compulsive-oppositional-defiant- treatment program for adjudicated youth. At our alternative school, building on our Adventure Based Counseling methodologies, programming at our alternative school focuses on addressing the specific needs of youth with problems. alternative school participants develop pro-social behaviors, enhanced self-esteem and sustainable, substance free lifestyles. Over a four year period, 83.9% of our alternative school graduates had no further involvement with the criminal justice system and a four year look at relapse found that 89.7% of our alternative school graduates reported NO relapse and 10.2% reported some relapse, but no active use.
